Lemonade Day My Way! Save the Date – August 20-23
BY STEVEN GORDON, LEMONADE DAY NATIONAL PRESIDENT
Greetings from Lemonade Day National!
Knowing that everyone is adjusting to a different version of life, work, and community engagement during these pandemic times, our national team remains committed to serving our Lemonade Day cities and youth entrepreneurs with creative programs! As each city enters stepped phases of re-opening, we realize there is a possibility that some cities may not be able to host a traditional Lemonade Day event this year. We have brainstormed new opportunities for our budding youth entrepreneurs and their parents.
Announcing Lemonade Day My Way!
We are organizing a National Lemonade Day campaign titled “Lemonade Day My Way,” to encourage kids and their parents and mentors to host a real or virtual lemonade stand. The event will kick off on August 20 and run through the weekend. Please mark your calendar and stay tuned for more details on our website that will include easy-to-follow guidelines and easy-to-use toolkits.
We are extremely sensitive to the fact that everything regarding Lemonade Day this year must factor in health and safety protocols that include social distancing and sanitation, school schedules, remote working and learning, availability of daycare or the lack thereof, continued employment or unemployment for parents, business re-openings or closings, and other situations and scenarios. We will outline several options to execute Lemonade Day My Way. And, for cities that will still be able to host a traditional Lemonade Day event this year, even if it is in your front yards, we support you!
National Children’s Day – June 14
One final note. This Sunday is National Children’s Day. We cherish all our Lemonade Day children and hope everyone finds their own way to make the day special. #NationalChildrensDay
Now and always, thank you for being a Lemonade Day fan and follower. Registration for Lemonade Day is free for the remainder of this year, kids in the United States can access their Lemonopolis lessons any time, anywhere on any device.

I welcome your comments, questions and suggestions. Please send me an email any time at Steven@lemonadeday.org.
In the meantime, stay great and stay safe!
