I have got some exciting news to share: Lemonade Day will be participating in #GivingTuesdayKids this year. We have always encouraged parents and mentors to join the GivingTuesday movement (and we hope that they continue to do so), but this year we also want to shine the light on our amazing kid entrepreneurs who are philanthropic by nature.

At Lemonade Day, we truly believe that your age has nothing to do with your capacity to make change. We are so excited to announce that Lemonade Day is once again gearing up for GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that happens after the Thanksgiving holiday, where people all over the world celebrate the power of generosity and giving back. They organization has launched #GivingTuesdayKids this year, an event we believe is an appropriate fit for our Lemonade Day kids! The challenge is going out to a million kids to get out and give back to their communities after school on December 3.

Lemonade Day kids have proven to be philanthropic, as they are always incredibly generous and passionate about the things that matter to them most. Join us — and the entire world — on GivingTuesday by hosting a lemonade stand!

We will share more details and resources later this week and throughout the month of November. For now, mark your calendars for December 3rd, the worldwide Giving Tuesday date!
