Lemonade Day Star Alumni Share Videos With Insights and Lessons for Lemonopolis
BY STEVEN GORDON, LEMONADE DAY NATIONAL PRESIDENT
The day is finally here! We have launched a brand-new video series featuring our Lemonade Day star alumni. The series, entitled Lemonade Day Experts Explain, includes motivational messages and tips from our “kids” to your kids. After all, kids sometimes learn best from their peer group.
Our youth experts share their insights and experiences to guide their peers and inspire them to start their own business – not just a lemonade stand. Each video aligns with a Lemonopolis® and workbook lesson and is a perfect supplemental resource for Lemonopolis online or the printed workbooks.
Not only are these expert Lemonade Day alumni, but most of them are already successful entrepreneurs. Check out Mikaila Ulmer, 15, founder of Me & the Bees Lemonade; brothers Rohit, 19, and Sidharth Srinivasan, 17, founders of Trashbots; Hailey Hertzman and Katie Vonder Haar, 14, founders of Ooh La Lemon and 2017 Lemonade Day National Youth Entrepreneurs of the Year; and Saanvi Vinod, 12, 2019 Lemonade Day National Youth Entrepreneur of the Year 2019.
If you recall, we recently announced that our generous partner Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers® is offering parents, teachers, mentors, community leaders, and students in North America free access to Lemonopolis! The Lemonopolis program teaches kids business and character-building skills that will help them navigate through adversity with an entrepreneurial mindset.
